Business Leads

The purpose of FLNG is to advance and improve the business of each member. Our intent is for the membership to share knowledge of current events, to provide introductions, and to recommend and refer each other whenever possible.

As a business leads club, it is our membership’s responsibility to maintain a high degree of integrity and loyalty to the membership when doing business in this community. Our goal is to enable each member within this organization to realize successes they would not otherwise enjoy.

Our methods for obtaining these opportunities include our weekly meetings, socials and personal contacts. Keys to making this organization successful are knowing each other personally, remembering the importance of referral and networking, open meeting acknowledgments for work received or given, regular attendance, being an active participant at each meeting, being generous with praise, always acting in a professional manner, and keeping matters confidential when asked to do so.

We meet on Tuesday at lunch time to gain wisdom and energy to go forth and conquer the business world. An additional responsibility of each member is to search for others who will join in and give energy to our purpose.

Networking Purpose

FLNG fluctuates between fifteen and thirty members and works best at about twenty members. The idea is to be there; attendance is strongly encouraged because attendance is what makes this work. We live for leads. We have incentives for leads and attendance and encourage “blowing your own horn.”

FLNG offers opportunities to hear from small business advocates in the community, politicians, business leaders and from time to time have lectures on subject matters that are for pure entertainment.

FLNG has the same restrictions to membership that were in place in 1976. We want only one person per profession and thou shalt refrain from membership in more than one leads club. We want fresh leads.

FLNG meets at 11:30AM Tuesdays in a private meeting room. Meetings start with introductions followed by a short business meeting. Upon completion of a business meeting we go around the room sharing leads, referrals and market information.  We are through in one hour, period. This format works for this size club.
